I remember then saying the day before election day that Hillary Clinton was a lock, and that Trump only had a 4 percent chance of winning. How’d that work out for them?

This poll, as well most other polls at this stage, are a measure of what the media say about the candidates. The media hate Orange Man and love every single Democrat candidate, except possibly DeBlasio. Expect more of this for months, it is just part of the media plan to help the Democrats get rid of Trump. Polls this far from an election are meaningless. Unforseen events can and will happen over the next 17 months. It is very tempting to beat our chests and dump any unfavorable polls in to the dust bin of fake news. Yet we should not forget how razor thin the margins were in the states that gave the President his electoral college victory

I’m not surprised. Internal polls are expensive and their Clients expect to get accurate information for the money that they are paying. Media polls are just part of their story line that supports their agenda. They only care about accuracy just before the election, when their final polls will be compared against the actual result.
