That was Chuck Colson. Dean doesn’t seem to believe anything other than his own delusions of grandeur.

You might be thinking of Chuck Colson who while in prison got saved and started a prison ministry. I believe he never abandoned the Republican party. Though he's dead and it's hard to say what someone would say, from everything I know about him, I think he would have gotten a hoot out of Trump and would be a supporter.
