CNN's Jim Acosta: Trump is 'crazy like a fox'
The Hill ^ | June 9,2019 | BY JUSTIN WISE

CNN's chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta on Sunday weighed in on discussions about President Trump’s mental state, saying he thinks Trump is “more crazy like a fox."

"I tell folks, I’m not a psychiatrist," Acosta said on CNN's "Reliable Sources." "I can’t assess the president’s mental state, but I will tell you is my sense of it, covering him for a pretty long period of time now, is that he’s more crazy like a fox."

Acosta went on to note former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon told him in an interview that Trump purposefully says sensationalistic things to stir reactions from the press.

"Bannon explains in an interview that I had with him, that what Trump tries to do is really control the narrative by saying sensational things that sound wild and nutty sometimes, and he does this because he knows it dominates the news cycle," Acosta said. "That make it a priority for us in the news business to talk about him nonstop. And he loves that and he capitalizes [on] that."

Acosta, who has repeatedly sparred with the White House, spoke with CNN's Brian Stelter just days ahead of the release of his book, "The Enemy of the People: A Dangerous Time to Tell the Truth in America," which dives into the Trump administration and its relationship with the press.

His comments about Trump came hours after George Conway, the husband of White House counsellor Kellyanne Conway, said that Trump was "mentally unwell."

“Crazy like a fox”

Took Acosta long enough to figure out something so simple.

The Swampers make a huge mistake----figuring Trump is just another guy with political aspirations.

THIS WE KNOW: The Halfrican crawled out of the political gutters of Chicago;
he never held a decent job in his whole life until he colored himself into the presidency.

In contrast, Donald has successfully competed in three of the most predatory business milieus extant today .....
the brutal dog-eat-dog worlds of (1) gaming, (2) realty development, and, (3) reality TV.

Dealing w/ the sharp denizens of these three worlds makes politics look like child's play.
Swamp pols are just a bunch of mere mental defectives.

GAMING---Hugh Hefner of Playboy fame and Barron Trump of the hotel industry fame COULD NOT GET A/C GAMING LICENSES--- the vetting is so brutal. Trump ran four A/C casinos and had other gaming interests in the islands.

Stupid Mueller never added it up------he looked in places that had already been scoured by the very smart gaming guys who licensed Trump.

REALITY TV----you wanna meet sharp minds, go into TV. Donald enjoyed an amazing 14 years at the top of the ratings game. That was not easy to do.

REAL ESTATE Donald developed properties all over the world---where you deal with very dangerous, very smart people, all with big big bucks at stake.

Many of our astute Freepers have conjectured that Trump won DESPITE Obama tapping his Trump Tower phones,
ordering an array US intel agencies to stop Trump.
Trump had to know ...... b/c knowing allowed Trump to successfully sidetrack the insidious cabal.

I know right... I been saying for years now that Trump uses his twitter account as a smoke screen to obscure what he’s really doing from the enemy media. He’s getting work done while the media, the democrats, half the republicans and that old hound dog barkin’ chasing down a hoodoo there.

Not just ANY realty development world, he dominated NEW YOHK real estate.

That means he was toe to toe with the Bonanno’s and the Gambino’s: after that, a buncha pasty faces at the FBI was a cakewalk!

The next 5 1/2 years are gonna be a blast. They are gonna get STOMPED.

The Rats I mean. The Gambino’s...hard to say. Pretty slippery group themselves...

It’s hard to believe this guy is the first one to figure it out. Maybe now he’ll realize how much stuff Trump has gotten accomplished while he and his idiot pals were out chasing after the cheese in the maze.

"His comments about Trump came hours after George Conway, the husband of White House counsellor Kellyanne Conway, said that Trump was "mentally unwell.""

I've always been curious why intelligent logical women get involved with stupid or ideological opposite men. Guess it's an emotional thing or may be the men are just good lays. Think James Carville and his wife Mary Matalin in the Bill Clinton days. I never understood that relationship.

How can you share a life with someone who has nothing in common with your most basic beliefs? If my wife turned dim/socialist tomorrow, it would be over, no matter how much I may love her other traits. Loyalty goes only so far.

Acosta has said that so many times that it’s completely lost all meaning.

“If my wife turned dim/socialist tomorrow, it would be over,”

The same goes for my spouse. I figure we’ll always be on the same page politically. In fact, the very first conversation we had was about China. Not too romantic, but it led to other things.
