In the back of my mind, I remember reading that the break-in at the Watergate also had something to do with retrieving files / information of an affair someone — John Dean, maybe — was having. Does that ring any bells? I may be confusing that with something else, but it seems that it was Watergate related.

I read it was a false flag and were supposed to get caught! They just broke into the office(s) and made it obvious, then a security guard just happened to show up! I believe that over any other BS!
