I also spent years close to the border and chased illegals (no kids and mamas) off my cul-de-sac property that was a route north...all young men. I owned no guns at the time (and still don't being thrown from a pier) but went out when they scared my kids with only a PR 24 in hand. That was around 1985 while still Navy living in Imperial Beach just 2 miles from the border.

I've been anti-illegal alien since I joined FAIR back in the early 80's. I was also a Minutemen who made the journey from Orange County to Tombstone when it was still operational. I also assisted Jim Gilchrist (co-founder) in his home near me. Stupid power plays and competing orgs was the death of the Minutemen. Still, it helped for a short time.

I also KNOW walls work! Back in the 80's?, Congressman Duncan Hunter got a bill passed for a real wall built between Tijuana and San Diego. Once built, the illegals moved their entry points east to Calexico, CA and then Yuma, AZ and then southeast Arizona around Tombstone. Illegal entry diminished in the San Diego area by about 95%. Don't tell me walls don't work. DHS has been improving the walls also since you've seen them scaling those particular early walls on TV. Remember the hundreds climbing? Guess who stop the those Central Americans from the cluster-f*ck? It was the mayor of Tiajuana because of he complaints.

Yes, Texas is a bigger problem with its longer border and next to the drug cartels. Contrary to what you read, 30 foot walls are being built there as I write this.

The point of all the above, I know more about the negati e affects of illegal immigration than most have forgotten or never understood. I also know what is happening on a daily basis. Google FAIR or CIS if you want the stats.

If Mexico doesn't want tariffs which would kill countless of their imports to US and hurt some small US companies short term, then they will abide by the recent agreement with Pres. Trump. Mexico claims it is currently moving Troops to their southern border and shutting down the caravan financiers finances. Besides e-Verify with major penalties, that is the best I've heard in all my years of being anti-illegal of stopping those suck-ups.

If the Mexicans renege, I would bet Trump shuts down all points of entry for an entire week. Remember the 2 day affect it had? Watch how quickly Mexico will honor the International Azlum Treaty.

And yes, watch how quickly the dims and rino's will whine and take to court. Good luck with that since Congress passed laws many years back giving certain agreement authority to the Exeutive Branch and a President signed a law about first come, first Nation Asylum. (p)Also, NO one or entity has standing over the Executive Branch regarding these matters because of Congress giving up their own authority years back. And no, it's not a treaty that requires Senate approval.

As an 70 year old man, I swear I will go hunting. Of course have to buy a gun first. Any recommendations? A hunting gun (think it’s called bolt action) or a machine gun and/or a pistol? What is a round size? 9mm vs .45, what does that mean in fire power and wrist hurt at my age?
