Coal fired power plants only put out about 1% as much pollution as 40 years ago. They are already clean. This is the reason the EPA needed to declare CO2 a pollutant. There was no pollution coming from coal plants any longer. In order to continue the crusade, they had to find a new pollutant to go after.

Yes and they are spending the majority of the money getting that last 10% of pollution out. People see the steam plume from the stack or cooling towers and think that’s pollution. No. it’s called water vapor.
