• The long-running dispute revolves — most recently — around an effort by the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on British Muslims, a cross-party formation of around two-dozen MPs in the British Parliament, to institutionalize the definition of Islamophobia in racial rather than religious terms.

• The proposed definition has been opposed by many Britons, including British Muslims, who warn that it would effectively shield Islam from scrutiny and valid criticism.

Days after the British government rejected its preferred official definition of Islamophobia, the Muslim Council of Britain, the biggest Islamic organization in Britain, called for the ruling Conservative Party to be officially investigated for Islamophobia.

To be fair to Javid, he is a non believer, has been pretty outspoken against the culture of child abuse and extremism coming from his community, is a ferocious critic of the MCB and is the man chiefly responsible for rejecting the definition of Islamophobia. He is no friend of the Islamists,

The Muslim Council of Britain is also one of the groups that has been participating in rallies against Trump visits to the U.K. They work with the British far left in that effort. In trying to explain why secular leftists would support Muslim anti-blasphemy efforts that are opposed to core leftist beliefs (such as atheism), I am led to the conclusion that British political leaders must be under the influence of bribery and blackmail operations similar to that which the Saudis launched against the U.S. in the 1970s (re: BCCI, Abscam, etc.). George Galloway’s relationship with Iraq comes to mind. The Pakistanis and Iranians have likely not been idle, either.
