The Mayor is similar to Pope Frankie in that everything he says comes not from himself (if there still is a "himself" inside that facade) but from his ideology of socialism/communism.

Communism is like the Borg in that once a person is assimilated into the hive mentality, what once was an even slightly independent thinking person is gone.

Well said. Communists have low level awareness. Sadly most people these days are trending toward the collective cause of the world’s distractions that keep them spellbound. It’s how, eventually, the devil will get his one-world order, without the people putting up much resistance.
