I am fairly much an economic illiterate but here is one thing that seems to separate China from Mexico, in regards to US tariffs, the Pacific Ocean.

I'm finding this whole tariff thing all the theory versus what actually happens very interesting. Its highlighting One of the numerous reasons why the wall is so important. It creates a barrier similar to what the ocean does to China. Sharing a porous border with a nacro-state that has a shaky economy is already crappy, Things head south more of their poor are going to come North. Don't mistake I don't want old NAFTA and I'm fine with tariffs if we are going to secure the border. Otherwise its the cities and towns in America already deluged with illegals that are going to get even more of them.

I don't like Mexico I think its a terrible nation I also thing morally and culturally there people are far to comfortable having several sets of mutually exclusives values. I'd place tariffs on them just because I'm spiteful and mean but if it just means more of them here then no thanks.

Like I said that is why getting the wall first was so important it would have been a physical tangible thing of the US government keeping the faith with the people. Thankfully the democrats can't find their ass with both hands - even with Ryan and McConell handing it to them on a silver platter

I agree that the most important thing to our national well-being right now is building a physical barrier and getting control of our immigration and illegal population.

If we don’t do that we are sunk.
