I cant remember ANY of thousands of days of horrific pain.

Not at all.

God erases what should should be a strong and horrifying memory or memories as if they never were, at least in this case.

To be frank, more than several times I had to go to a psych ward because I JUST did not trust myself alone at home with that kind of pain. It’s almost of a different realm.

I’d stay 2 or 3 weeks and build up the stamina to go another year before breaking again.

And then it started to go away one day. Until it was gone.

I used to go to bed with a bottle of Roxy’s (VERY powerful painkillers) thinking to myself that if the pain got too bad I could take the bottle.

But I knew I would go to hell anyway so what good was that!! :)

My big point is that the pain DIDN’T GO AWAY for a lot of soldiers.

The war and life moved on and they are still living a nightmare.

But I wont lie. I COULDNT take all of their pain.

I don’t want to ever feel that again.

Those guys and girls are still living a nightmare.

I pray it ends soon and they see sunlight.
