Well now stripping his pension away is something I would say ought to be looked at getting done.
Bringing him up on 100+ years of jail, nope.
Depends upon the jury. How will they find 12 unbiased jurors in that county?
So he can be charged for not taking action to protect children and staff. I whole heartedly agree he was negligent. Now, how about similarly charging everyone responsible for keeping the staff from being armed. After all, the people responsible for the “gun free zone” are also party to negligently preventing protecting the kids.
This. Police are not responsible for anyone's personal protection period, and failing to protect someone who is a child is not reasonably construed as abuse, even if that is your job. This is a show trial; they are stacking all of these charges on him to pressure him into taking a plea deal.
IT IS JUST A TERM USED FOR SCHOOL OFFICIALS, DISTINGUISHES THE POLICE AT A SCHOOL WITH CHILDREN, FROM THE REST OF THE CITIZENS.
