It’s all theater as this will go nowhere in the Senate. But this will likely encourage more illegals to arrive thinking they will be safe.
As much as we like to blame the Democrats for this mess with illegal aliens, there is not enough blame put upon the GOP. They want illegals here to please their masters in the Cheap Labor Lobby.
Nothing was done the first two years under Trump when we controlled everything. Paul Ryan made sure of that.
Bush did not secure the border after 9-11.
Even Reagan granted amnesty.
The GOP is just as bad.
For 3 million illegals, on the agreement that the dems would support border security measures, which the dems abandoned. Reagan later regretted ever cutting that deal with the dems.
