‘Why is there such fear in Washington, D.C. at the mere mention of my name?’

Because they don't want to lose the seat to Jones again?

and if he had actually treated his campaign seriously!
Didn’t he take like several days off and the tail end of his campaign to go to a football game! He must have been convinced it was in the bag! Just a terrible candidate!

‘Why is there such fear in Washington, D.C. at the mere mention of my name?’

The fact that he would make a public statement like that tells me he thinks its all about him!

More millennial “Me-me-ism” then a millennial!

The federal judge’s order was unlawful.

Federal judges are not gods. Acknowledging God is not unconstitutional.

More Dem party talking points on matters of faith from the FR cuck brigade.

Yes, yes, yes and a lower court judge has the authority to just make the determination that a higher court’s order is unlawful. Sorry but that isn’t how it works in this Country. How about he doesn’t like the legislature’s mandatory sentencing guidelines? Ahhhhh screw it! I’ll do what I want because I’m the arbitrator and decision point on what is unlawful and what isn’t! Don’t like what the law on what penalties are imposed by a DUI? Ahhhh screw it I’m a higher being and I say the DUI perp goes free.

He doesn’t like a ruling? Well there’s a process for that and that is appeal; not activism in a court of law. But what does it matter because in the end he was wrong and lost his job as a result.

You seem to think that Courts have authority over everything. Did you ever read “So Help Me God”, Roy Moore’s book? If not, you haven’t a clue of what you are talking about, because he explains it very well. It isn’t any surprise that Alabama put him right back at chief Justice.

The federal Courts have NO authority over marriage for example. NONE. And they don’t get to invent their own authority.

Your mentality is part of the reason we are in such deep trouble in this country, morally.

I assume you are not a Christian.

The courts have authority on what takes place on this earth. There wasn’t an insurrection over Moore getting tossed off the court. If a ruling from an upper court is so over reaching why wasn’t there an insurrection within the state? Why wasn’t there an uprising of the people of such magnitude that Moore would have found himself immediately reinstated? I’ll tell you why, because common sense people know that when a judge decides to “legislate front the bench” and sanction anarchy then that person has no business in a court of LAW.

Biblical arguments hold absolutely no sway over a higher court’s ruling. He was thrown out in 2003 because he thought the law didn’t apply to him. He again was suspended in 2016 for....you guessed it, not thinking the law once again applied to him. Barring getting thrown out for good he decided to “resign.” I don’t need to read Roy Moore self aggrandizing book on why he made the decision to break the law. Everyone writes a book trying to “set the record straight”, everyone has an opinion. The law is the law.

There is a time and place to appeal an upper court’s ruling and that IS NOT as a judge in your own court room. Your mentality is part of the reason groups like ANTIFA exist. They too don’t believe the law applies to them. Laws are as you make them. It’s “my law” that guides my “moral compass” They indiscriminately impose their will and violence upon people all in the name of “social justice.” I guess in this instance imposing one’s will vs the rule of law is all in the name of “Christianity.” Kudos to Moore for working himself from a job. A courtroom is no place for a judicial activist. I don’t care what Moore’s beliefs are. They are his beliefs, his PRIVATE beliefs that he can no longer impose on others.

So, he was tossed off the court, lost primary elections for Governorship, suspended as Chief Justice, resigned an lost a Senatorial bid in the most red of States to a Democrat. Given his track record (minus his patriotic service in Vietnam) the man should be the last person anyone considers for an elected position. He needs to stuff his ego away before we lose the State again.
