If people grasped what is going on, it would.
Very few entities are telling the folks what they need to hear, and so the truth seems suspect. Folks write it off to political differences. Well it is that, but it’s not the healthy kind.
These people have abandoned our Constitution and Founding Principles to commit crimes and try very hard to destroy our nation.

Several issues have to be addressed. Blockchain only addresses one of the issues and is not the final word. It only addresses the record of voting.
You still need:
Secure platform - OpenBSD is the closest the industry has achieved for OS, though there are specialty products that are very secure. And no, Windows is NOT secure.
Secure network
Secure voter Identification
Secure ballots
etc
Cryptography can address some of these issues but often at the expense of anonymous voting.

Turning over our elections to Big tech and geeks. We will no longer have a vote. When Big Tech gets control then the vote will be apportioned convincingly and Republicans will still win some but fewer seats with each election.
