Islam will be defeated when Jesus comes back and throws its god, Satan, into the lake of fire. Until then I’m afraid that it is slated to be the one world religion of the end times, thus will be ascendant until its demise.
this is why islam still exists....when you enable one group to attack and enslave another.....why wouldn't you go for it.
It cannot be defeated because there is no one with whom to negotiate the surrender. There is no Pope of Islam who can order all the little muzzies to stand down. And even if there were, they’re so fond of the “No True Scotsman” fallacy that they would regard anyone who commanded them to surrender as an apostate and ignore the order.
And it cannot be destroyed because ultimately Islam is nothing but an idea. And the stupidest idea ever created still has adherents.
So the only option is to be prepared to play Whac-A-Muzzie with them each and every time the get to feeling uppity.

For sure. The west/Christianity, has been fighting Islam since the Crusades. The US has been fighting Islam since the Barbary Pirate Wars. When the west has been ultra aggressive Islam goes to ground. When the west becomes complacent Islam becomes aggressive. Lesson that should have been learned by now, but has to be sadly repeatedly relearned is the west has to keep an iron fist on Islam, hammered to ground and kept there. Islam only respects power, brutal power....
