Yes, I understand. I think the author of the article was only a worker who was here for a short time and didn’t understand the Aussie system and he wouldn’t have been on the our system. You have to have at least permanent visa to be on the Aussie system. He was probably on the company’s system that he worked for. As in the USA, if anyone here, even visitors, goes to the emergency room of a public hospital, they will treat the person, normally at no cost at all. If they go to a private hospital they will be charged.
