The Virginia Pilot says he was a current employee. I’m guessing the folks there would have updated the story to say he had been fired.
Vegas redo except for a lesser body count. The power structure only wants you to know information that forwards their agenda. In this case, there is a blackout (appropriate choice in wordage). The police will heretofore call him only a ‘suspect’ because, well....., you know. Motive will be hidden because it is racial... and/or racial and Islamic.
