So now president Trump should get the Mexicans to use the money (10 billion?) we gave them in foreign aid to pay us for building the wall. Maybe they install the wall with graffiti already painted on. Huge pro trump spray paint murals for 100s of miles ...
I have come around to the view that we should “make Mexico the wall”.
You catch more flies with honey, etc.
A real wall (which will never be built) would turn Mexico into a much worse problem than it is now. For 10% of the cost, as mordida, we could make Mexico a friend and all those people crossing the Guatemalan border would just...vanish into thin air.
The Mexicans are experts at the skills required here, and we can never match them for ferocity and cruelty.
Make Mexico the wall.
