It’s about time. I hope he doesn’t walk this statement back before June 10th or after. Let the pieces fall where they may.

The Fox News guest who was on as the announcement came out, apparently an economics out of U of Chicago, said it’s illegal to impose a tariff on a single country ... so I don’t know ... but I can’t imagine POTUS did this w/o a team of lawyers saying it’s ok... then the left will get its one judge to gum up the works.

It’s about time? Why didn't you do it decades ago?

Btw, ya think any of these establishment stooges would have ever even suggested this?

”It’s no substitute for a GODDAMNED WALL. BUILD THE GODDAMNED WALL, DON.”

Easy there, you’re shooting at the wrong guy. What on Earth do you think he could do that he isn’t already trying? The fault for inaction lies with the dems who block every effort, the establishment GOP who quietly do the same, and the leftist judges who have now taken it upon themselves to dictate U.S. policy.

5%???? Tell Mexico is shaking in its boots! Shut the freaking border down and stop all currency transfers into the country, and immediately tax the hell out of all employers hiring illegals.

Do these people always pull their opinions out of thin air? What about the China tariffs?

The Mexican government will pay zip...(Trump will have to pick some specific Mexican imports for it to be implemented)...then importers will pay the tariff $$...passing it along to U.S. consumers.

LOL. They’ll be “paying” when those Mexican factories start furloughing workers. Big League.

Yeah, “Mr. Econ Professor” is apparently confused, the tariffs won’t be imposed on a country, but on the products imported from said country. The president can pick some individual high dollar imports or “all imports” I guess (no precident for an “all imports” tariff?)...would have to research that one.

I agree. I am tired of being played by Trump. He could have done this or more in 2017. Or in the new NAFTA.

He has failed on lowering prices of prescription drugs, of helping middle class whose small business people have lost deductions. He has squeaked about rising interest rates which help middle class.

He keeps making same mistakes with personnel over and over. He listens to the twits Kushner way too much.

We keep hoping. But it is waning and he will see that in 2020.
