What he’s saying is he could have NOT straddled the fence. Barr’s going to say ‘no obstruction’.

Didn’t Barr already say “no obstruction?”
Or did he merely say, “You can’t obstruct an investigation if there’s no underlying crime?” Which, there is a debated question, with the debaters obviously influenced by what they want for/against Trump.
Barr’s passive aggressive way of telling Mueller the adult in the room made the decision you were too cute by half to make.
Mueller was stepping down who was gonna stop him?

Barr is away, so the rats play.
He wanted to destroy Trump but there was no evidence.

Mueller shuts down the investigation, and Mueller gets to walk away without answering any questions.
Maybe because Barr was in Alaska?
It didn't seem like there was a lot of lead-time for this - the media was notified that morning. I think it blind-sided Barr.
What could you expect from someone who only showed up for work to collect his paycheck. I doubt Mueller had much input into the investigation, and wrote little or none of the report. He was just the figure-head, and left the legwork to his minions. I think the guy is totally inept. It’s the same way Comey ran the FBI...turned it over to the inmates to run the asylum, and was Director in name only. Comey learned that technique from someone...probably from his buddy Mueller. And Wray seems to be following in their footsteps.
If a deal has been made, Assange is as good as dead.
With Mueller gone, Barr will now answer all the questions everyone wanted to ask him. I suspect Mueller isn’t going to like most of the answers.

Mueller and his team’s idea of obstruction is tantamount to if you got out of bed today and stood in linexahead of them you were obstructing justice. Remember, even if you are charged it doesn’t mean you are guilty.

Deep State Clinton investigation: “We have conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, but we don’t believe she intended to.”
Deep State Trump investigation: “We can’t find any conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, but we’re certain he intended to.”
