If adults want it in adult spaces they can fight for that, but when it comes to kids & teens.....no. I don’t see any positives for young people.

Did the whole transgender thing bloom overnight? I am finding it difficult to believe there are so many now.

No, not overnight.
The first documented male to female surgery was performed in 1930 in Germany but the patient died soon after.

George William Jorgensen Jr became the first American to undergo a sex change surgery in Denmark in 1952.
He returned to the states in 1953 using the name Christine Jorgensen.
“She” was hailed as a pioneer by the New York Daily News and became a NYC celebrity.

The movie Dog Day Afternoon (1975) is based on a true story and has a transgender (fake) woman in the movie. The plot is that the bank robbery was to get cash for the transgender (fake) woman to have sex change surgery.

The Hollywood crowd, socialists, perverts and the democrats (redundant, right?) have been pushing the envelope hard and fast though. Anything to tear the country apart.

Just wait a few years when these mutilated people start suiciding in waves. And it all could have been avoided with a basic modicum of morality and common sense.
