IMO, a big tactical mistake to come out and say this. Especially since it won’t work.
Yeah, I think he should have stuck with the "You didn't see what you thought you saw - Republicans brainwashed you!" defense. That likely wouldn't work either, but this gives his Democrat rivals a lot of ammo to use in the primary.
In this case deny and lie would have been the better strategy, WHILE changing his ways.
It’s a BAD strategy, but the wife ADMITTING that her husband, who wants to be POTUS, is a sick #### who likes touching girls ain’t such a great strategy either.
