My financial advisor recommended Disney stock. My reason for not wanting to buy it was; get woke, go broke. The SJW parts of their recent movie releases mean they are taking up propaganda and not trying to make money. SJW is a philosophy and philosophy pervades thinking on all subjects. When it’s a good philosophy it makes money for shareholders. When they are pitching something aimed at just 5% of the populace then it will not lead to profits, just the opposite. Disney is heading the way of JC Penny’s.

It’ll be hard for me to ever watch any of their movies ever again and certainly I have no intention of paying for any of them. Georgia or not in Georgia.
And so, because a state passed a law that would prevent the murder of innocent babies, a film company that makes films for kids will not set foot in that state to protest that women can’t kill their babies and instead will go to a state that promotes killing babies so they can make their movies for little children that mommies take their kids to. (The ones they didn’t abort.)
Cleansing Georgia of the Disney plague is a good thing.

You want to gut a lot of cash to your company in protest of a bill that, you know, would ensure you get a LOT more customers in the future, Bob Iger? Go right on ahead and shoot yourself in the foot! Would only make your firing come even sooner by the Shareholders if they still care about the company and the loss of revenue your actions are incurring.
Seriously, Disney under Iger is now even WORSE than it was under Eisner, and that guy got fired by the board of directors for far less stuff than the crap Iger’s foistering on the company. Can’t the board of directors and shareholders do SOMETHING to rein him in?! Probably the closest he’s gotten to getting SOME punishment for his appalling behavior was when he had the Disney Club brought in to counter Tom Borelli’s accusations in an apparent Yes-Man stacking the court (and utterly failed in that endeavor anyway), and even THAT merely resulted in his salary being cut.
Under his direction, we lost access to traditional animation, had the traditional animation magic exhibit replaced with a Star Wars pavilion (despite the fact that such an attraction, if it belonged anywhere, was better off at someplace like, say, Space Mountain), forced various properties to adopt far left policies, and in the case of already-existing left-wing initiatives like Gay Days, has doubled down on the whole endeavor, cancelled Wonderful World of Disney, among other things. He divorced it from Walt Disney than even Jeffrey Katzenberg could EVER hope to do (say what you will about Eisner, at least Eisner had enough respect for Walt Disney himself to keep Wonderful World of Disney and especially try at first to actually follow Disney’s initiative on Disney flicks). Let’s hope the board of directors grow a spine, or better yet, an actual brain, and fire that jerk, and replace him with someone who has a LOT more respect for Disney’s vision than he does (not Eisner, BTW, someone else).
