Why does Hollywood get tax breaks?

They need to pay their fair share, just like the rest of us do.

Who’s the spokesman for Disney these days, Pinocchio?

Disneyland is thriving They raise the prices and more people come. On Friday they open star wars land and you need a reservation to go in, no extra charge but a reservation.

I would bet on a Disney demise in the near future. Still a world destination place for families.

Oh well, I’ve found it difficult to spend a dime on anything that Disney is connected to for quite a few years, and the likelihood that I will ever do so again gets less and less every day.

Funny, all these film companies left California due to the high taxes, regulations, and high costs, but at least their cast and crew could get all the abortions they wanted. Come on back to california, Bob, help pay for the mess you created.

Because so many of their staff need abortions.

Further proof that P.T. Barnum was right.

I never said it wasn’t “thriving”. I even mentioned the quest for more money. I said that the parks had lost some of their charm. That is an opinion.

I’m not someone who cares only about the financials. The Kardashians make a ton of money, but they are nothing to praise a sign that our country is morally bankrupt. There is more to life than money.

there is competition now for location shooting from Canada to North carolina in the states and several countries. So some places give tax breaks. That’s how Cal has kept shooting in LA.

Disney has been on the dark side since 1968

I wouldn’t let my kids watch anything past that. If they saw Aladdin, lion king, frozen, the little mermaid it was art their friends’ house and I knew the parents of their friends

None of that stuff was allowed in my house

This is where that trajectory leads.

The worship and devotion. The going to Disney world /Mecca

the crowds would seem to contradict your charm statement. That was what I meant.

I never said anything about disney morals. My daughter works there and is moral and a christian.

I oppose any boycott of alabama. My daughter and entire family oppose abortion. My step-daughter had a baby at 17 and put it up for adoption rather than abort.

People have fun at disney and i can sit and watch kids from around the world being happy and escape the pressures they have at home and form society. Will take my grand daughter there next month./ Have to have free admission.

They don’t seem to have a problem getting new fans. They raise prices and attendance keeps increasing. The parks are crowded more than ever.

If your choice is to film in California and pay x-amount, or film in Georgia at 60-percent of x-amount....you will film in Georgia. Course, they might use the Vancouver angle and just film more out of country.

What gets me is that pro-abortion crowd tends to make you think that 3,000 women a week go into Georgia clinics for abortions.
