And i'm pointing out that the Scots voted in the advisory referendum at 62% that they didn't want to leave the EU.
That opinion was completely ignored. But their MP's voting rights were not ignored
It would be best for all concerns if Scotland leaves the UK and joins the EU - perhaps taking the UK's seat. At the same time letting NI join RoI.
Then England+Wales gets the no-deal Brexit that 53% to 55% want and everyone is momentarily happy
A Scots person’s vote was equal to an English person’s vote. A British citizen is a British citizen, there is no such thing as an ‘English citizen’ or a ‘Scottish citizen’. We are all British, and our votes were equal. when it comes to parliamentary elections however, Scottish constituency sizes are smaller each person’s vote in Scotland accounts for slightly more because their votes are not diluted as much as they are in England. Saying Scotland’s ‘voice’ was ignored is kind of like saying London’s voice was ignored, because they predominatnly voted for remain too.
