Currently tracking a tornado on the ground, estimated one mile wide, moving between Lawrence and the KC suburbs. Heading towards western Wyandotte County. For those who know the area Eudora, DeSoto, Bashor, Tonganoxi, and western Wyandotte County may be suffering major damage and possible casualties. Tornado has been on the ground for a good 20 or 30 minutes. Keep these people in your prayers.

Tornado still on ground 45 minutes, moving 30 miles per hour. Bonner Springs, KS (NASCAR track) heading for larger population areas.
Heading North toward Parkville, MO, last damaged 16 years ago.
Moving along I70 highway, moving East!
KCI airport is moving passengers and staff to basements.

It passed less than 4 miles from us. Mr. Mercat and Mercat, Jr. stood out on the road looking for it. Then the power went out.
