Storms are starting to intensify in OK, so OK and AR and areas east could be in for a rough night, as well.

Apparently went from Lone Star Lake area in Douglas and stayed on the ground through Wyandotte County passing near Bonner, Legends/NASCAR, and lifting as it entered Platte. Circulation still showing as it is aloft going from Platte into Clay up by Highway 152.
Makes me shiver as it appeared to pass over my former home.

I am in Lenexa. It went north of us.

I work out your way and just when I was getting work is when I think the first lighting started.

Got a snowbird neighbor from near Maryville Mo. Said he barely made it home through a flooded area.

Yes, we are breathing a bit easier here tonight but others on up the line (storms with bad winds like tornadoes) a Northeast through mid-Missouri.
God blessings to everyone for your thoughts and prayers.

Live over by Lee’s Summit. Stayed west of us but the night isn’t over yet. Have never heard a storm called a tornado emergency before but this certainly qualifies. Prayers for all involved.

Yup. NWS showing impressive rainfall totals in that area. As if more trouble is needed...

Currently getting slammed by very heavy rain, and constant thunder and lightning in Brooklyn.

I remember the Tulsa flood of 1957, and had our apartment destroyed in the flood of Memorial Day, 1976. My brother lost his in the Memorial day flood of about 1984.
Daughter lives in Sand Springs, far enough above the river not to worry.

It passed less than 4 miles from us. Mr. Mercat and Mercat, Jr. stood out on the road looking for it. Then the power went out.
