Wow! Trump just took down one of China’s largest companies.

That means that the communist billionaires who own companies are going to start to put pressure on Xi to come to a deal with Trump. This is costing them directly now.

Which Chinese communist billionaire is going to lose all his money next?

MAGA Brilliant!

HuaWei and other Chinese producers of electronics have already cost us far more than we have saved by buying cheap Chinese stuff. Replacing every Chinese derived component in the electronics throught the military and in civilian aircraft has been ongoing since even in the Hussein administration. It started when it was discovered that at least some components and probably most or all were transmitting data or opening doors for the Chinese to hack them for data or device control. When it started it was let known that “counterfeit” parts had been discovered and should be replaced. That was an understatement.

communist billionaires - you mean Party members. eh?

All companies in China are owned by the People’s Liberation Army and controlled by the Party. The “billionaires”, as you put it, are usually disposable, the PLA is not. The PLA will bring the pressure, if any at all. This is the long game ... short term profits are useful to buy more military stuff, but ultimately regional or world domination is the name of the game

It's not optional. The president has the legal right to impose trade embargos. Google can either comply, or face legal charges.
