I caught every disease that I was vaccinated against, but there weren’t nearly as many different kinds of vaccines back in those days. It was a little rough to have smallpox as a child, though. Then the Army vaccinated me for smallpox a second time, and I had smallpox again! Don’t you hate it, when that happens?

Am I detecting a pattern?
They gave me vaccine for bubonic plague, and I promptly came down with it. I was hospitalized for 23 days.
