I don’t need the measles vaccine.
I had measles in the mid-1950s.
I also had reubella (German measles), scarlet fever, rheumatic fever, mumps, chickenpox, swine flu, Hong Kong flu, avian flu and whooping cough.
I never had polio, but I did get the Salk vaccine in 1955, in school.
“Then the Army vaccinated me for smallpox a second time, and I had smallpox again! Dont you hate it, when that happens?”
Am I detecting a pattern?
They gave me vaccine for bubonic plague, and I promptly came down with it. I was hospitalized for 23 days.
If you figure something out, please ping me.
He was out of school for nearly a year recuperating.
I was joking and didn’t have smallpox. Had a fever for a night from one overseas shot, but it wasn’t the Plague.

My was. Three of us went to get our shots updated so we could go on a 10 day leave. All three of us spent 3-1/2 weeks in the hospital with bubonic plague, and we lost our leave to Hawaii and had to settle for 6 weeks of recuperation leave stateside instead.
