House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was adamant that Democrats remain uninterested in pursuing impeachment, despite what she called President Trump's "irresponsible behavior" at the White House on Wednesday, when he dismissed claims of a "cover-up" in a 12-minute long tirade against Democrats in the Rose Garden.
At her weekly press conference on Capitol Hill on Thursday, Pelosi claimed the president is "crying out for impeachment" as Democrats continue to press ahead with numerous investigations into the Trump administration. Pelosi told reporters, however, that any suggestion that Democrats are planning to pursue impeachment "simply isn't the truth."
"Impeachment is a very divisive place to go in our country," said Pelosi, reiterating her long-held position.

Pelosi is in a bad position. The raging mob on her Left is screaming for Trump’s head. If she refuses to lead them they will take off and do it without her, rendering her “leadership” moot. Although she has the title of Speaker, she isn’t. I’d say it’s AOC. The Democrats are in a new era and Pelosi has been left behind. And, yes, as the only adult in the room, Pelosi understands this will damage the Democrats like impeaching Clinton backfired on the Republicans. I hate to describe her as the voice of sanity, but in this circumstance, she is. It’s like somebody trying to hold back a lynch mob by waving a handkerchief and saying, “Mark my words, this will end badly.” (Yeah, that’ll stop ‘em.)
And, for what it’s worth, I think if Pelosi was about forty years younger she would have a chance of taking back control. But she is well past her best-by date. If she was in this to help the party, she would orchestrate some younger up-and-comer to take over while she gracefully retired. But, just about every politician wants nothing more than to die in office, because they are SO important nobody can do the job as well as they can. Also, they identify as the job, not as themselves. Once they leave the job they no longer have a reason to live.

Pelosi was her usual disgusting self. How do you know these scumbags are desperate? Pelosi actually reverted back to “the concern over DJT’s temperament”. The crack about her asking his family to give him an intervention was way over the line and she knows it. She is a frightened and confused drunk. You can literally see the epic battle between Botox and vodka playing out on her face.
That’s why the smart move is for Trump to encourage Impeachment, let’s get it all out in the open before the Campaign gets underway.
