IMHO, as the field starts to whittle down, the overwhelming majority of the followers of the dropouts will not go to the Biden camp. If they wanted to support a career politician with no accomplishments, and a has-been of the Obama administration, they would have already been supporting Biden. The remainder of the far left candidates will end up supporting another far left candidate when their's drops out.

You say the wannabees will gravitate to one of the younger leftist candidates. I'm wondering if their egos are too big for that. They might all gravitate to Sanders and fight another day, for the VP nod.

One thing for sure. It will be amusing. Just like political parties and the media always do, they've propped up some real losers. They don't know where to turn when the public mostly hates their designated winners. (just like with Jeb).
