Justin Amash is treading into ever deepening waters. Michigan's 3rd Congressional District is quite upset with Mr Amash after his Twitter tirade on May 19. Afghanistan Combat war Veteran Tom Norton (R) filed in April prior to Mr Amashs' Twitter tantrum and the newest announced candidate, Rep Jim Lower (R) says he was "intending" to announce closer to July 4th but was motivated to move up the timetable on his announcement because of the Amash Tweets. Mr Lower does not reside in Michigans 3rd Congressional District.....

It’s hard to oust incumbent in party primaries, but Amash may have put a big enough target on his back. I hope Trump and the GOP can rally behind one non-Amash candidate, I don’t think Michigan is a run-off state. Don’t let him win with a 35% plurality.

Lower sounds like an alright guy; let him run in his own district.
There are some places where there is a paucity of eligible nominees. If Lower is a sincere President Trump supporter, then he should be considered.
We want an abundance of possibilities, and we should use all of them.
Hopefully all the candidates unify behind the strongest candidate, with the best chance of defeating Justin Amash, by election day. Trump should get involved and campaign against Amash as well. There's no reason we should ever lose races like this. MAGA!
