Heck, I’d even get rid of Hawaii.
And frankly, considering that the US illegally overthrew the Hawaiian Monarchy, if someone took the case to court that Hawaii should be independent, based on that, they might have a case.

Nothing but lame excuses for not getting the job done. POTUS has the power and the right to stop the invasion but he doesn’t do it, which leaves normal people thinking that he doesn’t want to.
