Which way is the wind blowing there? Can we just send a few Nukes then send a text message to Iran?
Prayers for ALL our service members STILL in harm’s way in that awful part of the world
Amazing. I hope we will retaliate appropriately very soon.
“Out of Syria”.
I’ll second that.
So, could this be the new thing where Turkish backed Islamists have their nasty deeds conveniently claimed by ISIS?
Why are we still there?
“US-led coalition”
Weren’t we supposed to leave cuz mission accomplished?
Trump should follow his America first instincts, rid himself of the globalists advisers on his staff, do a wholesale purge at the State Department, retire the careerist, globalist generals and the Obama acolytes at the Pentagon, and finally reform the CIA to its former capabilities and stature. Any Americans maimed or killed in Syria made sacrifices that did not enhance the security or well being of the American people.
Agree...
This should ease John kerry and the other DC scumbags who have been tlkinv directly to the enemy
Most likely an attack by our own deep state proxy forces. In other words, planned by our own people and executed by proxies.
Nuke Iran.
We have no reason whatsoever to be in Syria.
Yes, waste of time and lives.
No Saudi client.
The conflict is ISLAM v. EVERYONE
No other outcome.
Trump ordered them out in December. The neocon swampers rebelled. And now, some good American men were wasted or wounded. I say wasted because it was not for any purpose of defending America. Nothing SDF jihadis are doing is good for America.
They should have been out.
I’m beginning to wonder about all these attacks on Bolton on Free Republic. I know there’s a suspition of him being a warmonger but his patriotism cannot be questioned. He blows the doors off the former National security advisors. I suspect some fake people out there.
Prayers.
I agree with you on this. We never should have been in Syria in the first place and were it not for Obama and McCain supporting the Qatar/Saudi gas pipeline we’d have never got involved.
You know, I get that there is nothing over there that is worth the life of an America soldier, but the knee jerk POLITICAL response of some here is just annoying sometimes. How about some prayers for the safety of those who serve to protect our security, and THEN a discussion about how this tragedy could or should have been prevented? The common person has no idea what the mission they were on was, and how important, or unimportant, it might have been. Sorry, but political response without all the facts of the matter is just as bad here at FR as it is on CNN.
