No doubt. Control freaks indeed. “Live and let live” is dying. You use to have the freedom to swing your fists that stopped at another person’s nose. Then you couldn’t invade their personal space. Now, swinging your fist threatens the environment and the life of future generations so it must be... well...
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving regulate it. If it stops moving, subsidize it.
It's fun but not all that productive to demonize them. They are their own worst enemy. All we have to do is give leftists everything they ask for and our leftist problem self corrects. Fortunately most leftists are highly concentrated in cities so this is possible. The relatively recent technology of high rise steel and concrete cities had it's run but now is declining in economic importance. We can let leftism self-destruct and die off as a failed experiment and not even notice.
