Exactly as this author says, I have long theorized that losing this group was the death knell to Hillary Clinton. She did not realize that great numbers of these women are in with the so-called deplorables. And they do not vote strictly on a genital basis. They are very family oriented. And Hillary Clinton told just a few too many lies for them to be able to face their children and say “yeah, I voted for her because she’s a woman.” Yeah, she is a woman, but she is a horrific example of one.
Hitlary won the group. Per the article
“They voted for both Mitt Romney and Hillary Clinton in the last two presidential cycles. Of course, they lost both times. They did, however, help Nancy Pelosi reclaim her Speakership in 2018.”
Now they might have turned elsewhere when Hitlary blamed them for her losing. Hitlary did not lose the group until after the fact. They also continue to vote in a definite pattern.
