I’m happy for your recovery and survival. That must be an ordeal you will never forget, but one you may need to put out of your mind once in a while and focus on the present.
I am hearing a lot of cases here recently, about Stage 4 cancer patients surviving and even thriving long after a doctor’s prognosis. Maybe certain cancers have become easier to treat, with chemotherapy less essential.
My ex was diagnosed stage 4 year ago in April, she is doing good and celebrated our daughters wedding yesterday!
With latest treatments, cancer is becoming more of a chronic malady rather than a fatal disease.
Immunotherapy, and maybe viral therapy will lead to either cures or greatly extended survival rates.
So far, metastatic prostate cancer has been very resistant to immunotherapy, but there are lots of clinical trials that will help many, many men now and in the future.
