I was in the DC swamp for a family funeral last week, and the one of the few non-lefties there and I were having a discussion about the current climate in the swamp. He didn’t know about FR and I told him specifically about this weekly thread. Following our conversation, I decided to “whip this out”. If you were left out, apologies. You could be included in the next episode.

Sundays I jump out of bed
Excited to read AB’s thread
Everyone gives their view on the crap those guys spew
and the propaganda the Dems love to spread

With no AB we’d each have to see
All the shows on our own home TV
That would take too much work, I can learn as I lurk
With more time on a Sunday that is free

I’ve been here since two-thousand one
And I’ll admit it’s been lots of fun
It’s nice to share views, of what’s in the news
And I enjoy all your comments a ton

Some here deserve a call out
On this thread they’ve earned lots of clout
I can’t cite you all, but you’re all in my hall
With your insight and the ideas you tout

As soon as I see or hear FNC’s Chris Wallace anywhere I turn of the TV or radio. He is supposed to be an interviewer & moderator....not a pundit or party line stooge. So...I will not be watching him today this morning on Fox News Sunday, nor will I be tuning in this evening as he makes his lovefest, soft ball questions & comments to the Democrat, “Pete Pajama Boy” Mayor. Have fun Chris!!!

I was going to watch the Democrat Joe Biden Gigantic, Massive “Kick Off” 2020 POTUS political rally being held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but as I watched the lead-in activity up to the Biden speech, I took note of three things , and I turned the TV and went out shopping with the wife.

The three things noted were, the rally was very lightly attended, maybe 1000 or 2000 people, there were hardly any African-Americans or Hispanic/Latina-Americans in the rally attendees and the “Pledge Of Allegiance”, “The Star Bangled Banner” and the “Church Choir performance” was not high caliber at all for a POTUS rally of this importance. And...to boot....after the Choir completed their ensemble, a group of ragged stage hands ran out to the podium and started shifting equipment around in a panic. Not professional at all!!! I heard that Biden only spoke for twenty minutes, or so. POTUS, Trump speaks at his rallies for one hour and twenty minutes as a regular activity. Gland I did not tune in, for Biden said absolutely nothing worth hearing or heeding.

We will have the opportunity to witness the competing POTUS, Donald J. Trump Rally, on Monday evening, May 20, 2019, being held in Montoursville, Pennsylvania at the “Energy Aviation Hangar”. We will see whether POTUS, Trump can attract more attendees then Democrat Joe Biden did for his so-called Major League, Gigantic, Massive “Kickoff Rally” in his home headquarters of Philadelphia, PA, where thousands of African-Americans were expected to attend, but...very few actually showed up. that is also a “ditto” for Hispanic/Latino Americans. Biden did not do well yesterday.

Well, he did use the word FOLKS seven hundred and thirty-two times in a 20 minute speech, so that was special.

The biggest problem with that, is in the Caribbean, the closest automobile supplier is the US, where all the cars are left hand steering. This means that when you try to pass someone, you have to get all the way out into the opposite lane before you can see if anyone is coming at you. In Nassau, at least, the coming drivers (mostly) are quite accommodating, and will pull to the side, and make a three lane road out of a two lane highway. It's when that doesn't happen that you can be in deep trouble.

I heard "someting" interesting on the Radio this morning.

I my early years while still in Czechoslovakia we had family trips to various Castles. As most children I especially enjoyed the swords and other assorted weapons hanging on the walls.

The other area of interest/fascination was the dungeons with their torture devices.

So the radio this morning had a comment about William Wallace and how he ended up confessing all his sins before the English did, what was done in those days, as examples of what happens to people who do not obey the ruling classes.

The other comment was similar in nature and the Radio people mentioned that in some African countries they would bend young trees to the ground, tie the perp. to the trees and then let loose

So the thought here is - The Constitution addresses the issue of UNUSUAL punishment = But what is the definition of unusual?

There have been many examples of "punishment" throughout history.

The 15/16th century Turks would take Boys 10-14 yrs. old from the WHITE/Christian areas of what today is Hungary, Romania , Bulgaria and other areas they overran. They would take these boys and make of them the Janissary military corps. A very fierce strong and feared military force. The Turks would convert the boys to Islam and train them for the purpose of future military invasions of Europe.

Morning boys and gals,ladies and gents,went back to sleep for a few minutes at 7:00 am and just woke up. I’m really beat this week, I feel like Arnold without the kick. LOL!
my kick was different.
Tuesday I went to Homestead,just South of Miami and met a fellow rod builder for discussions(I hired the guy he seems great) at the Red Lobster in Fla. City. We had a great lunch talked building rods for a sloid hour without a break.
I paid for lunch with my credit card and left to go back to the Keys.
Around 6:30 I discovered my credit card was gone.I went to my shop to see if I left it there and while there got a call from my banks fraud dept.
Seems my card had been used at seven gas stations in the region up there and two had gone through.Seems the server (can’t call them waitresses any more—more dem chat)had stolen my card and given it to her buddies in the area.
I called Red Lobster mgmt. at the restaurant and they told me yeah that had problems with that server!!
I noticed she was black and then it all hit me they were afraid to can her!!Long short of it all I’m still out about a hundred bucks trying to get it back and as far as I know the criminal server is still there!!
I had lunch with a top law enforcement official in the Keys and as I told him he nodded his head saying it was not a big surprise to him.
Gotta wonder where we are headed,bricks thrown at speakers,Arnold gets kicked while snap chatting and servers routinely steal credit cards brave new world??

Amy Klobuchar (sp? who cares?) in effect admitted that there is currently no Federal law behind Roe-v-Wade. If the SOTUS over turns Roe v Wade then she would push a Roe v Wade law through Congress as President.

John Bongino,(who knows Webb)who now lives at FNC he's on so much is acting like it's all breaking news when many of us knew how the company set all this up to protect zero and Hillary months ago.
It's been one of the drivebys biggest fears as well that they would get caught having omitted that the fisa warrant which supposedly gave legitimacy to everything was just one more fair tale made up by the usual suspects.
