[His dad is a palestinian, came here in 1956, so he’s a muslim, what else do you need to know.]

A significant number of Middle Eastern Christians tend to be pan-Arabists on ME issues. This means they’ll side with Arabs and take positions that are antithetical to US interests. Not all, or necessarily even the majority, but some. Off the top of my head, this is a list of a few (non-US citizen) anti-American Arab Christians,

It’s understandable. When we showed up in Iraq, we did not particularly take their side. The problem is that we couldn’t, with our rules of engagement. The only way we could take their side without greatly increasing our casualty count would be to commit what are today considered war crimes. We’d have to do a Muhammad in reverse to the Muslims in Iraq - convert or die.

We need more Bridgette Gabriels, Robert Spencers, and Joseph Farahs amongst the Arab-Christians and less fakes like Justin Amash and Spencer Abraham.

The Orthodox with Pali roots are often anti-semites I am sorry to say.
