Unfortunately this won’t be passed with a Dem House — and then after 2020 there will be a question again as to whether it can be passed with a RINO House and Senate.

This makes far too much sense and is supported by far too many Americans to ever become law.

They need to start AUDITING companies in exactly the same way Louis Lerner did to pre-2016 conservative PAC’s with “Freedom” in their names.

Companies using Modern Slavery need to be fined stiffly for every illegal they enslave, for each day of that enslavement:

Take the profit out of it.

Terrible idea.

Passing the buck (and costs) to businesses for a job the fed gov can and should be doing.

Nice

take away their welfare and they will self deport

once the freebies and jobs are gone, no reason to stay here.

ICE will still need to force deport the drug dealer/criminal class, but everyone else will just leave.

President Trump will go into 2020 with a strong economy and a mile long list of accomplishments

Democrats are going into 2020 with a failed politician whose only accomplishment was asset forfeiture and was Obama’s wing man for 8 years. Plus he is older then President Trump, whiter then Trump, actually does the things that President Trump claimed in a secret recording (touchy feely) and might be mentally damaged. And plus calling President Trump WACIST 24/7.

With E-Verify in place illegals will self-deport.

This needs to be expanded to the university system. Particularly public universities that tout themselves as diverse because they accept foreign and DACA students, while working class Americans are paying full tuition to cover their costs. It’s theft and should be illegal.

Most California employers are not required to use E-Verify. In 2012, it became unlawful in California for the state or a city, county, or special district to require an employer to use an electronic employment verification system, such as E-Verify

Trump could have implemented Universal E-Verify by Executive Order on his first day as President.

E-Verify has a pristine 33 year legal foundation based originally on statutes found in the 1986 Reagan Amnesty.

Since then, the legal weight of E-Verify has been buttressed by several Executive Orders and several agency rules in the 1990s and 2000s.

Equally important, at least 16 states have legislated their own E-Verify laws, all of which have been upheld in Court, with at least one case being won in the Supreme Court.

Tragically, Universal E-Verify will never be enforced, by any President, even if this new legislation is passed by Congress.

E-Verify is a great program. And it works. If every employer in the US used it, we would see a dramatic change in hiring.

See here for further info.

Not against this idea, but the amount of taxpayer-funded goodies (cash, food stamps, WIC, Medicaid, child care, and Section 8 housing) available to illegals is staggering. This doesn't even include free public education costs.

The 3rd worlders don't want this country, they just want our perks. We need to stop extending benefits intended for American citizenry to non-citizens before the flood of illegals will subside. Period.

Isn’t E verify already the law?

In this era, the notion that any employer is “unknowingly” hiring illegals is preposterous and an insult to our collective intelligence.

This does nothing about H1B visas, which is ridiculous. Nobody elected Trump on keeping immigration levels the same, he was elected to STOP it.

If Trump kept all of his pledges, we’d see wage growth skyrocket. He needs to be held accountable and he can’t be allowed to backslide on this “we need LEGAL immigrants to do the jobs” Chamber of Commerce garbage.

The list goes like this -
1) southern barrier;
2) require eVerify to hire;
3) end all chain migration;
4) birthright per Minor v. Happersett (plural parents);
5) end work visas;
6) 10-year moratorium on all new applications for citizenship (40 years to allow workplace automation effects on downsizing population)
7) demonstrate English proficiency to acquire citizenship and pass civics test.

Enactment of these provisions will motivate illegal aliens to self-deport.

We absolutely need E-Verify. It should be required of all new employees, whether part time or full time or temporary. It should be required of all existing employees, whether part-time, full-time, or temporary. I cannot think of a faster way to remove the lure of jobs from people trying to come to the US. And to remove them from the workplace. Starve them out.
