President Trump seems to have finally said something that Glenn Beck will agree with, or possibly even celebrate.

While President Trump is a little squishy on the LGBT issues, he was merely saying he welcomed the challenger.

He also pointed out that not everyone is ok with it. I’m one of those people.

Trump may be saying that simply because he knows it’ll improve his chances of re-election if they are that in your face about it with an America that doesn’t want to hear about it. IOW, it’s fine with me if you want to shoot yourself in the foot. No skin off my back.

It may improve his chances of re-election by being politically correct, and thereby opposing evangelicals on this, but it is still morally wrong, as was Peter's compromise to curry favor by separating himself from the Gentiles.

That does not mean we should not want Trump to be President over Buttigieg/Biden/and/the/rest, but neither are we to treat him as a demigod whose actions or words cannot be criticized. To not do so would be shooting ourselves, and give fodder to the liberal cannon that charges evangelicals with compromise as if we unequivocally support all the President says or does, yet whose election over the Hill was a God-send.
