Why isn’t Trump keeping them out of the country?
We have more illegals coming in today than under Obama
But for the last 2 months Trump’s Administration has been focused on how supposed threats from Venezuela and Iran. WHEN ARE WE GOING TO SECURE OUR OWN BORDER? Why don’t Bolton and Pompeo go to our own border and focus on the emergency there, instead of being fixated on Iran and Venezuela, places half a world away? America first for a change!
Talk to the courts and Congress about that. Trump is doing more than any president in the last 40 years and almost everything legally permitted to him.
As for Venezuela, we’re not really providing anything significant down there. No troops on the ground, the most we’ve done is a simple single humanitarian aid airdrop. What resources do you perceive we are using there that could be better used here.
Because in December the US Supreme court said people can claim asylum any time, any where on US soil, even if they come here ILLEGALLY. Before that Trump policy was if they came here illegally they could not claim asylum. That is what caused the flood. Most of the border fence is set back from the actual border so the illegals can be on US soil before they get to a wall/fence even if there is a fence where they decide to cross. Other judges have made other crazy rulings that have to be dealt with too. Congress has an easy fix- write a new asylum law. But there are so many in Congress right now that support open border and illegal immigration it won’t be easy to pass a new asylum law. Will be a fight.
Congress needs to rewrite our asylum laws. President Trump is working hard but he can’t write laws. Only the O could wave his magic wand or crazy pen and phone and make law and the media cheered.
