Out of all the criticisms of Donald Trump, the one I've never understood is that he's somehow anti-gay. The Trump/Pence ticket was supposed to have put up conversion-therapy camps all across America by now, right? Yet somehow it hasn't happened. With all the legitimate reasons for a person to oppose Trump, they still keep making stuff up.
Pete Buttigieg has been capitalizing on this, depicting himself as some sort of victim. He wants you to think Trump is oppressing him. He just can't seem to get Trump to play along.
Check out this clip from an interview Trump just gave to Steve Hilton, which will air on Fox News this Sunday night. Hilton asks what Trump thinks of Buttigieg's marriage:

Now, that's not to say Trump is a big fan of Buttigieg. The other day he referred to Mayor Pete as "Alfred E. Neuman," which is kind of funny. And Buttigieg said he had to Google "Alfred E. Neuman" because he's not old like Trump, which is also kind of funny. But Trump is teasing him for looking like a dork, not for being gay. Trump insults everybody who's a threat to him. It's nothing new, and there's no reason to expect Buttigieg to be exempt.
Besides, isn't Alfred E. Neuman a sort of trickster god, always humiliating people who are too full of themselves? I wouldn't want to mess with Neuman. Take the compliment, Pete.
Trump just disarmed the “anti-gay bigot” narrative. Meanwhile, there’s far more on which to attack Buttigeig, with his support for “slavery reparations,” abortion on demand, “Medicare for all” and every other socialist fantasy designed to place everyone on a form of welfare and bankrupt America, which by the way he said is not a “great” country.

Leftie MSM is trying to (1) Get Trump to say something the Buggplug can blab endlessly, combined with some self-righteous religious pap (a la claiming the conservatives were “outraged by AOC’s dancing or whatever,) or (2) cut Trump off from the evangelicals.

I think any politician has to win to govern, so Trump can be in forced retirement like Hillary (as of this morning....) or he can win votes from the other side.
The other direction would make him like the extremely observant Orthodox Jews and the Puritans and subjects of the sermon Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God. BUT then all would say “Trump isn’t a saint” “Trump sinned, too.”
If he starts saying vote-getting lies about abortion and the Wall and illegal voting and jailing Hillary, then we have to say “no.”
Up to then, this is like having a smiling photo op with the Rolling Stones and then having questions about drug policy ramifications and does he agree with each one’s opinions or not.
Trump has never been a social conservative. This isn’t a recent thing or “done for the cameras”. I don’t think he really cares.

Did he make a gagging joke when the cameras were off? Oh, they are NEVER off when they are around him so I suppose not. Maybe he made some offensive hand gesture or something? No? Weird since he hates just about everybody. At least that’s what “they” keep ‘Trumpeting’. Yeah, I did that.
