A firm I worked for used to get the daily talking points at 10am. On Thursday a second wave of adjusted messaging would post at 3pm, this is how they know what to discuss on the pre-recorded Sunday talkers. They started with faxes back in the 90’s.
This is why they are so flat footed if something goes sideways on them late Friday or Saturday.

Actually, what made that one especially interesting is that a huge number of media commentators picked that phrase up at exactly the same time and they ALL mis-spelled it. The phrase they used was “Easter Worshippers”.

I may be wrong, but I think the double p is a considered correct in the UK (which may be the point of origin for the talking point) but in the US, we spell it the way you spelled it. But the media spelled it differently. ALL of the media spelled it differently.

Having spent 12 years as a Republican oppo researcher and periodically discussing this with my partners, I concluded that there IS a secret central talking points dissemination site.
