Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold announced Thursday that her staff was banned from traveling to Alabama after the state signed into law the toughest abortion law in the nation.

"I’m calling for a boycott of Alabama," Griswold wrote in a tweet. "Until Alabama allows for safe & legal access to health care for women, I will not authorize spending of state resources on travel to Alabama. I call on other state and local leaders in CO and across the country to join me in this boycott."

The law has spurred national outrage and drawn backlash from Democrats and Republicans alike.

But no backlash from this? That's weird.

VIRGINIA DEMOCRAT GOV. RALPH NORTHAM ADVOCATES POST-BIRTH ABORTION

“If a mother is in labor...the infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians & mother"

“I think they mean all State of CO employees”

Not yet. It says she “calls on other state and local leaders in CO and across the country to join me in this boycott.” So it may eventually. But it made me laugh.

The dumbbutt won’t get much help from anyone not in a blue state. Colorado sucks like California.

Oh noes. What would Alabama do without all those Colorado state employees coming to visit, dear me.

Sick of Abortion being called Women’s Health Care....

health care
n.
The prevention, treatment, and management of illness and the preservation of mental and physical well-being through the services offered by the medical and allied health professions.

So is carrying a baby an illness? Do you preserve mental or physical welfare by killing that baby? Perhaps there is an unreasonable expectation that avoiding inconvenience preserves mental & physical welfare?

Until Alabama allows for safe & legal access to health care for women

Women in Alabama do have safe and legal access to healthcare. She must have something else in mind. Once again, the Left screwing with the language.

Brit Hume ‏ Verified account @brithume Follow Follow @brithume More If the case for abortion rights is so strong, why is it always cloaked in such euphemisms as “choice,” “women’s health,” and the biggest howler of all, “reproductive rights?” Whatever abortion is about, it is most certainly not about “reproduction.” 9:50 AM - 15 May 2019

Exactly. The Colorado governor is simply virtue signaling.

Oh boy, another meaningless gesture from a liberal! I hope the state of Alabama can survive this unspeakable hardship.

This governor can order his employees not to go to Alabama on official business but that’s it.

He can’t order anyone to stay out of the state when their off duty.I’d like to see that governor pursue that idea.
