The House will be voting on the “Equality Act” soon. It will prevent “discrimination” against transgenders, but also includes race, nationality, etc.
In the actual law it says that if a person identifies themselves as a certain sex, race, nationality, etc., EVEN IF INACCURATELY, they need to be treated as such.
On would think that a transgender would be aware of the various medical issues relating to their original sex and clue the doctor in on it - but as this case shows - I guess not. Let alone breast cancer, ovarian cancer, etc.
Hopefully it won’t pass the Senate.

Agreed - it is just posturing to be able to say that they are for “equal rights” and the republicans are against “equal rights”.
Regardless of men in women's sports and locker rooms, the saddest part is that it will prevent people from getting the mental health help that they really need.
There is a HUGE increase in female-to-male transitions in the last ten years (up 4,500%!). Most of the girls have a pre-existing condition such as anxiety, Aspergers, autism, OCD, depression, etc. They are getting sold a bill of goods that the reason they feel “different” is because they are really the opposite sex.
This new bill would make it illegal to try to treat their real problems. It already IS illegal in many states!

They’re potentially sending these people to an early grave. Suicide for these so-called trans-genders is very high.
The suicide rate is higher than normal - but not as high as they tell us. They use the suicide thing to scare the parents - and also the kids transitioning.
I read a sad story about a boy wanting to become a girl. He was on estrogene, full support of his family, his priest, the school - everyone.
He killed himself when he realized that he would never be the “perfect” girl that he wanted to be.
Of course the rest of the article talked about how so many transgenders kill themselves because they don’t have the support of their family, etc.
