Good morning, Jim!

I sent my check weeks ago, and encourage all FReepers to step up and donate.

Finally spring weather in Nebraska, and now too hot for a couple days. Otherwise, life has been good in general of late. Daughter got engaged last week to a terrific young man (the first time we went to his house, he had FOXnews on 2 TVs, and soft country music playing....). He is a veteran and patriot.

We saw the granddaughters three times last week, so that was special.

The Yankees are fairly well holding their own in the early season.

Governor Ricketts ordered flags in Nebraska to be flown at half-staff today, in honor of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.

It is looking like the Dems are not going to put together any formidable candidates for 2020, so there is a reason for optimism.
