New Zealand prime minister: 'I do not understand' US lack of action on gun control
Washington Examiner ^ | May 14, 2019 | Julio Rosas

New Zealand Prime Minster Jacinda Ardern expressed shock at the lack of action in the United States to implement gun control laws.

"You can draw a line and say that does not mean you need access to military-style semi-automatic weapons and assault rifles. You do not. And New Zealand has by and large absolutely agreed with that position," Ardern said in a CNN interview.

“Australia experienced a massacre and changed their laws; New Zealand had its experience and changed its laws," Ardern said, referring to the country's mass shooting at Muslim mosques in March. More than 50 people were killed during the gunman's attack

Your two posts aren’t going to do it for her & her ilk...

There were no pictures and the print was too small and some words had more than four syllables.

Sorry you had to waste your time
\sarc slightly off

I’ve got it in my profile page now- there’s some pretty powerful quotes in there- and it;’s obvious our founding fathers felt we should all have our inalienable rights supported by the constitution- I just wish some conservative pundits would cite these from time to time because I’m sure that most liberals are wholly unaware of just how strongly our founding fathers felt about our right ot self defense-

Living overseas, I have run into a lot of Kiwi’s, Aussies, and Brits who tend to have the same view. They just don’t understand our 2nd Amendment, as their countries don’t have it, and that they have pretty much been disarmed by the government. When I explain to them that the 2nd has nothing to do with hunting, but has everything to do with overthrowing a tyrannical govt, then most of them tend to understand.

the second amendment are to protect us from all threats, both foreign and domestic- when those folks who don’t understand speak with you- explain to them that it was ordinary citizens who were expert hunters during peacetime, that protected this land of ours and drove the British to the sea from our shores in 1814- The British faced a ‘gun behind every bush and beneath every tree’, and their army of trained soldiers was simply overwhelmed and outgunned by ordinary citizens

He doesn’t understand because he’s a dumb ass and a fool.

Throwing stuffed kiwis at an armed assailant doesn’t work. Neither do kind words and truffles.

The Brits of 1776-1783 sure understood why we didn’t have gun control. (They didn’t like it either - but they understood it!).

Well, Jacinda, we here in America have this little thing called the United States Constitution. So, F*CK OFF.

BTW, I’m hoping that over the coming months and years, you’ll be able to brag to the world about how so many muslims are immigrating to your island, from the USA. That would be wonderful news.

Outside of that, Mind Your Own F*cking Business..

Signed,

‘MERICA

Above is an interesting history of “The Powder Alarm” which happened just before the “shot heard round the world”. Talks about how the British militia near Boston became an “American” one, and the ripple effect it had. With much of their views and rules regarding arms reached the congress meeting in Philadelphia.

Usually I’ll go full #### instead of touching that first letter.

But I’d be thinking it.

Dear Jacinda,

I demand the right to whatever firearm I want and can afford, primarily as a deterrent against people like... you.

Australia experienced a massacre and changed their laws, to keep the law abiding citizenry from protecting themselves and aiding and abetting the invaders you love and support, douchebag

'I do not understand...'

You understand the implications and you don't like them, you pig-headed, power hungry libtard.

Your play to disarm will fall on deaf ears when speaking to freedom loving Americans.

I wonder, while wearing an outfit like that, if what happened in Sri Lanka recently really crossed her mind given her thing for gesture and image politics?
