Their attitudes are terrible thinking all they have to do is show up, sign on the dotted line and we’re suppose to just let them in ‘Because’ they’ve had a long hard journey and it’s unfair we make them wait.
I just don’t want any to come in until our immigration laws are changed and enforced....even then I’d be happy not to see any.

They already well know that won’t happen. They cross over and wait to be picked up declaring ‘Asylum’ .....then get all their health needs checked out as the first step in processing them. Heck if you’re a mexican and can’t afford healthcare it’s an easy way to get medical help....fake you’re declaring asylum....then when well you just go back over the border.

In order for them to utter the word "asylum", they must be on US soil. If you research the law I referenced, it gives the president the power to deny anybody (that POTUS deems undesirable) the ability to make it onto US soil.
There's a difference.
President Trump has already dispatched US troops to our southern border for some reason. That clearly shows he has authority to dispatch troops to the border. If he can order 100 to the border, he can order 1,000. If he can order 1,000, he can order 10,000.
Trump has the ability to prevent these people from making it onto US soil. That's what the law (that I earlier cited) specifies.
Trump is not doing this. And it is deliberate.
It's been years, years since he took office and the situation has gone from alarming to insane. And still, the POTUS allows it.
Yes, I know, federal judges won't allow him to deport, incarcerate, etc. But all that applies to invaders who made it onto US soil.
Trump has the power to prevent them from making it onto US soil, if he will. But he won't. He hasn't.
The only explanation is that he is stringing this along until 2020, to use it to get what every first term president wants, viz. a second term. Meanwhile, millions more of those diseased criminals will have made it onto US soil. And still, he does nothing.
But as long as he makes cosmetic moves, moves that will surely be overturned by incompetent federal hacks, everybody is sure he's doing all he can.
He isn't.
You do realize there is a setback on much of the border fence and the illegals are technically on US soil before they cross the border fence? The immigrant rights lawyers are sure aware of that and they are at the border in droves to protect the illegals. In some areas there is no border fence at all, and in my area only barb wire cattle fencing for miles and miles so pretty hard to keep them off of US soil in any case. Border Patrol in my area gathers them up pretty quick but they are already on US soil.
Our asylum laws need to be rewritten, our Congress is not likely to do that because there are too many dims and RINOs that support open borders, illegal immigration in Congress. That is not on Trump, that is on us, the American voter.
All the lawyers on earth can't stop that. They can only affect what happens after the invaders reach US soil.
I understand what you're saying, and until recently, I said the same. But it's a rationalization to avoid admitting the obvious.

I'm about of the opinion that God is tired of us. He's tired of the USA and the murder of tens of millions of unborn; He's tired of us celebrating the sexual perversion that He addressed (with destruction) in the Bible; He's tired of us following the lead of those who hate Him, hate His son Jesus, and who hate righteousness. And He is now giving us what the majority demand, viz. a country without Christ. "Sow the wind..." and all that. I'm about of the opinion He is giving the USA to our enemies, just like He did with the Jews. (Cf the Major Prophets.)
But that discussion likely belongs in the "religion" forum.
Trump has not conned anyone about the border issues. He works hard on the border issues every day and has a far greater understanding of the border than any president in my lifetime.
We the people have been electing supporters of open borders and illegal immigration since at least the bunch that did the 65 Immigration reform. It has taken us decades to get to this point. Not an easy fix. Now the UN, open borders groups who are heavily financed and lawyered up have organized this mess. Trump is sorting it out. He is winning some and losing some. He needs those of us that want our border secured to stand up and use our voices to support what he is doing.
